Terms of service
Last updated 17 October 2026
1. The service
Manhaj Match provides marriage introductions between Muslim men and women following the process described on the How it works page. It is not a dating service. You must be at least 18, legally free to marry, and seeking marriage to use it.
2. Your account
You must give truthful information, keep your password private, and use only one account. Brothers and sisters register for themselves. A wali joins only by invitation from the sister he represents.
3. Applications and review
Every application is reviewed by an administrator. We may approve it, ask for corrections, or reject it, and we are not obliged to give detailed reasons. Answers about religious practice are self-reported; Manhaj Match does not verify or certify any member’s religiosity.
4. Conduct
You agree to follow the Islamic compliance policy and the Community and safety guidelines. We may restrict, suspend or close accounts that do not, and may close introductions in progress.
5. Membership and billing
Membership costs $19.99 per month, billed in advance through Stripe, and renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your Membership page; access continues until the end of the paid period. If a renewal payment fails, access continues while the payment provider retries; if it is not recovered, paid features stop until you renew. Your profile is kept unless you delete your account.
Payment gives access to the service. It does not guarantee approval, a successful identity check, any number of introductions, or marriage.
6. Refunds
If your application is rejected, you may request a refund of your most recent payment within 14 days of the decision. If you fail the identity check, you may cancel and request a refund of the current period within 14 days. Other requests are considered case by case. Refunds are paid to the original payment method.
7. Identity checks
Brothers must complete an identity check through our provider before an introduction can proceed. We store the result and the provider’s reference only.
8. Introductions
Whether an introduction proceeds is decided by the sister and her wali. Manhaj Match does not vouch for any member and is not a party to any marriage. You are responsible for your own enquiries, and we strongly encourage families to make their own checks.
9. Ending your account
You may delete your account at any time from Account settings. Deleting your account cancels any active membership. See the Privacy policy for what is kept afterwards and why.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Manhaj Match is not liable for the conduct of members or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
11. Changes
We will tell members about material changes before they take effect and ask you to accept updated terms.
