Questions, answered.
Is Manhaj Match a dating app?
No. This is a private marriage introduction service for Salafi Muslims. There are no swipes, likes or private messages, no photographs of women, and the woman’s wali is involved in every introduction.
Can I see photographs of sisters?
No. Women’s photographs are not collected, displayed or exchanged anywhere on the service, and no level of membership changes that. The site does not accept file uploads at all.
Can I message the person I am matched with?
No. There is no messaging between brothers and sisters. Both brothers and sisters can read each other’s full profiles (never names, photos or contact details) and express interest. A brother may include one short note, which the sister and her wali can read but not reply to. Once both agree and the introduction is approved to proceed, the brother receives her wali’s contact details and continues through him.
Who can see my application?
Administrators reviewing it, and members who are suggested to you or share an introduction with you. They can read your application answers so they can make an informed choice. Your name, date of birth, contact details and your wali’s details are never shown, and you can hide your personal introduction in Account settings.
